Volunteer and Donations Opportunities

Support our members of the VOAD who form a coalition of nonprofit organizations that respond to disasters as part of their overall mission, by sending a monetary donation to their organization.

There are continuing Hurricane Matthew volunteer opportunities at a variety of sites. NC VOAD member agencies welcome the efforts of volunteers. Contact a group now to work.

Volunteer opportunities for Hurricane Florence chainsawing, roof tarping, debris removal and muckout/tearout/cleanout and for rebuilding are available.

Volunteer and donation opportunities for Hurricane Dorian donations and shelter workers are needed; chainsawing, roof tarping, debris removal and muckout/tearout/cleanout will be available.

2 November 2020

Due to the resiGreg Lentz of Hearts with Hands has joined the Board of Directors filling the vacant seat which expires in 2023. Greg will also serve as the chair of the Donations Committee.
