Officer Changes

2 November 2020

Due to the resignation of Ross Patterson, Greg Lentz of Hearts with Hands has been appointed to the Board of Directors filling the vacant seat which expires in 2023. Greg will also serve as the chair of the Donations Committee.

Due to the resignation of John Robinson as NC VOAD president the board has elected Ann Huffman as president. Her former position as vice-president will be filled by Laura Block. Al Foote remains as Secretary and Gene Ziemba remains as treasurer.

Cleaning up from Isaias

Damage from Hurricane Isaias and the tornadoes it spawned has occurred in Pamlico, Pitt, Bertie, Chowan, Hertford, Beaufort, New Hanover, Pasquotank, and Brunswick.counties. Watch this space for volunteer opportunities. In the meantime, volunteer to help with rebuilding from Hurricanes Matthew and Florence.
